1) USS Midway Museum

This museum is located in San Diego, on the USS Midway, an aircraft carrier. These days you can check out all of the exhibits. Ranging from 30 restored aircraft to a tour of the Bridge and Captains and Admirals Cabins. And while you’re there, be sure to head over to the flight simulators.

2) Griffith Observatory

A national leader in public astronomy, Griffith Observatory is a perfect spot to see the cosmos. But that’s hardly the only thing you can do when you visit. There’s the Samuel Oschin Planetarium and several amazing exhibits, like the Wilder Hall of the Eye and Cosmic Connection.

This is the place to go if you’re looking for art collections from all over the world. With constantly changing exhibits, you won’t want to visit just once. Be sure to stop in at one of the amazing exhibits, like the Arts of the Americas or Textile Arts.
